Getting your cash back
- How it's paid
- Credited to the principal card account UOB credits the cash rebate to the principal cardmember's card account and shows it on the principal's monthly statement, including rebate earned on supplementary cards. UOB says the credit can lag the spend and does not promise a date.
- Which month counts
- Your statement month The minimum spend and the rebate are counted per statement cycle, by the date a transaction posts, not the date you made it. A purchase that posts on or after your statement date counts toward the next statement month.
- When you lose it
- Card cancelled or converted, or account overdue You lose all rebate not yet credited if the card is cancelled or switched to another UOB card, the account becomes delinquent (overdue), or a refund lowers your spend. UOB can also take back rebate earned on purchases that break the terms, such as business use, and can bar you from rebate if it suspects fraud.
