Getting your cash back

How it's paid
Credit to your card account, monthly HSBC credits the cash back to the main cardholder's card account within 6 weeks after each statement month ends. It shows on the next statement as "Base Cashback Credit" and "Bonus Cashback", rounded down to the sen.
Which month counts
Your statement month Spend, tiers and the RM30 caps count per statement month. A purchase that posts after the 7th of the next month counts in the month it posts, not the month you made it.
When you lose it
Refunds, or a cancelled or overdue card HSBC deducts the cash back on a purchase that is later refunded. Cancelled or invalid cards and delinquent (overdue) accounts are outside the programme; the T&C set no expiry.
